Will Kohler founded Journey in 2019, driven by a crucial need for trauma-informed and culturally sensitive mental health services in Erie, PA. While his passion for helping others was clear, navigating the complexities of business ownership proved challenging. This transformation from a small practice with rented offices to a thriving team of 17 in their own building signifies a major success for both Will and Erie. Journey is now the first LGBTQIA+ certified business in the city, providing vital, inclusive mental health support to underserved communities.
Will emphasizes that the coaching helped him embrace his authentic leadership while mastering essential business skills. The program provided a supportive network and expert mentorship, crucial during the challenging pandemic. "I don't think that Journey would be around, let alone grown as much as it has without this program," he reflects.
